Alves were born Rodrigo Alves on 30 July 1983 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Alves's Brazilian mother as well as a British father. Roserval Alves was Roserval's father. He is from Portugal and arrived in Brazil in the year 1940. The family started out in farming, but they expanded to retail and shopping centers. Her grandfather purchased Barbie dolls to her while she was a youngster. Alves was born a male however, she believed that she should have been female at the age of "three three, four, five as well as six". She also enjoyed playing with dolls, dressed in cross-dresses as well as enjoyed having fun with them. [6][7] Her belief is that gender should not define the person. Alves was shy and bullied during her early years. Alves struggled with hormone problems during her teenage years. The hormone imbalance was too high. estrogen that caused her breast tissue and other organs to grow. They also had a tendency to target her other traits. Alves was born to an affluent family who own a number of stores of groceries in Brazil. They have been rich for years and yet, they do not earn any money from their stores. [10] Alves relocated to London at the age of 18 which is where she studied public relations at the London College of Communication. She was born to a maternal grandmother who left her the money she needed to pay for her studies.
